I pretty rarely think, let alone say, this kind of thing -- I can only think of one time I did it, and it was deployed for someone else's sake (mostly) -- but there *is* a point at which getting treated like shit by one's vast inferiors gets annoying.

I know one can suffer much worse things about a job, such as not having one. But I think I may be setting that bar too low.
