I can't be alone in this, but when I have to do paperworky things, especially if money-related, I get strong physical reactions (today, intense stomachache) and in my mind they feel as though they take a million times longer to complete than they in fact do. I usually only enjoy this feeling once a year (tax prep) but I'm getting the special bonus of experiencing it now thanks to a(n attempted) refi. Actual required time to assemble docs: < 1hour. Feels like: 10 years. Yip. E.
