With Blowhard, I did my usual Meisner-y thing of deciding to act as though I found him FASCINATING and WONDERFUL, and quickly found that not only did my feeling toward him (genuinely) change but so did his behavior. His demeanor toward me is now all twinkling avuncularity (and, though probably unrelated, he is less airtime-sucky). Funny how that works.
