Things learned this weekend

1. Lack of challenge aside, Hunter One is *so* pretty, especially when it's dumping, with picturesque winding "skipping gaily through the woods" trails (esp Rip van Winkle) and never a wait for the lift. *Perfect* way to end the day. Other notes for future: other than first few turns (easy black elsewhere), k27 is at *worst* a blue anywhere else; Hunter West (Col's Alternate & Claire's Way, anyway) was a blown-off ice field and also solidly blue; the only legit double black trail/section I saw was the bananapants bumps and steep at top of Milky Glades

2. However little sleep the night before or much exertion during it, a third cup of coffee in one day is a recipe for uncontrollably yapping my face off to point of exhausting myself, let alone friends trapped in car w/me, whose forbearance was extraordinary. They are very polite.

3. It's okay to do nothing useful for an extended period. Good for one, even.

4. "Please Give" was all right - not sure why all the hoopla; "Lovely and Amazing" was so much better :/
