I love absolutely every last thing about Modern Family. But, if I had to pick my favorite thing, it would be the Mitchell/Cameron talking heads. Mitchell's silent reactions to Cameron are just incredible. Also I love the strategic deployment of Sofia Vergara's comic timing. "I CAN'T TALK TO HER!!!!!" Outstanding.
